Superior’s Process

Whether you have experienced damage to your exterior from extreme storms, wind, or hail, or you are just in need of a new roof and/or siding because the time has come to replace it, we can assist you. Our canvassers are helpful in knowing what consists of storm, wind, or hail damage and what our clients need to do to get the repairs their homes require. • Call our office to schedule a free assessment and quote. One of our sales associates will set up an appointment with an assessor, based on your schedule and what day/time works best for you.
  Once the assessor arrives at your home, he will show you his credentials prior to accessing your roof or around the exterior of your house.
• Assessments can take between 15-20 minutes, depending on how much damage is found. The assessor will be taking pictures and using chalk to mark off any damage found on your home’s exterior. (The chalk will rinse off with the next rain.)
• The assessor will present the pictures to you, on either a smartphone or ipad, to show you where the damage is and how extensive it may be.
• The assessor will advise on whether or not you will qualify for an insurance claim, based on his own expertise. If our assessor deems that your exterior is good and would not qualify at the time, we can offer a roof/siding certification.
• If the damage is extensive enough to qualify for an insurance claim, our assessor will advise you to call the 24 hour claim line for your insurance company, which is usually found at the top of your statement or on the back of your insurance card. The assessor can sit with you during this call to help ask/answer any questions, if you so need.
• Once this call is made, you will be issued a claim number which will be written on the top of our assessment sheet. Within 24 to 48 hours, you should receive an email and/or phone call from the insurance adjuster with a date/time that they will come out and assess.

• Once you have that date/time, along with the adjuster’s name and phone number, you will contact our office, and we will pass it on to the sales associate assigned to you.
  At this point, our sales associate will work with your insurance adjuster on that date. He will also work with you to show you the product samples you requested, ie manufacturer and color of roof shingles and/or siding.
• When our sales associate and adjuster meet and have assessed the exterior together, we will be informed on what will be covered under the insurance claim.
  The first check that comes from your insurance company will serve as the deposit. Once we finish the job, we will issue a final invoice to you, as well as the insurance company for the remainder balance owed.
• Once the claim is approved and/or you sign a contract with Superior, the gears start turning. We will request that you put a Superior Construction Solutions sign out in front of the house. We will apply for all permits necessary in your village, and we will place the order for the materials needed for the job.
• Once Superior obtains the necessary permit, the associate assigned to you will schedule a time to drop it off and ask that you display it in the front window of your house.
• Materials will arrive on the same day as the tear-off begins. We will supply a dumpster on site and remove the dumpster on the same day the job is complete.
• Superior’s skilled roofers/siders will walk around your property and pick up any debris, leaving your property the way it looked before we were there.
• Upon completion, the sales associate will schedule to come out in the next day or two to ensure everything was completed to your satisfaction. At this time you will receive the final bill.

NON-Insurance Claim Process

If you are not looking for an assessment on weather damage the process is about the same.

You would call and set up an appointment with a sales representative. In the time between the call and the appointment, we will order a report on your property. This will allow us to prepare the quote/contract to present to you on the scheduled appointment date. The quote/contract will give you the total cost of the job and a guarantee that we will arrive on-time and stay on-budget. The sales representative will provide you with sample boards of all the high quality products and materials we can offer you. Once materials are chosen from the sample boards, we will schedule a tear-off date and promptly order the materials to have them delivered straight to your house with the guarantee that they will arrive on the same day the tear-off is scheduled. Our skilled roofers and siders will work efficiently to get the job done and clean up, leaving your property as it was before the job started. Roof Certification Process

If you are selling your home and are in need of a roof certification for the sale, Superior Construction Solutions offers our professional opinion on whether the roof will last 2 years or beyond. The process works very similarly to the other processes. The steps are as follows:

You will place a call to our office, where you will be able to set an appointment that works with your schedule. Once your appointment is set a sales representative will reach out to verify your appointment. Our sales representative will arrive at the appointment on time. Upon arrival our sales representative will present you with a business card, along with a breaf description of the process that will take roughly 15-20 mins.  The process consists of checking for any storm damage, for example hail or wind. We will check the gutters and fascia, along with the pliability of the shingle. Once our sales representative is finished, they will explain in their professional opinion their findings. At this point our sales representative will offer you our roof certification, along with a quote to replace your roof, gutters and siding. There is no obligation to have any work done.
